On April 25, 2021, the National Base for International Youth Exchange of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries was unveiled in Shandong. The base will give full play to the unique advantages of Shandong's fine traditional culture, so that Chinese and foreign youths can learn and appreciate the fine traditional Chinese culture represented by Confucianism through learning and touring, creating a flagship platform for youth exchange between China and other countries. The base will launch a six-volume series of The Wisdom of Confucius: Ancient China's Gift to the World, with a focus on the essence of Confucian philosophy, namely benevolence, righteousness, propriety, wisdom, and faith. Using easy-to-understand language, vivid and interesting stories, the book incorporates traditional Chinese cultural elements such as paper-cuts and costumes, with digital animation explanations. It integrates with China's proposal, path, and model, uses cross-cultural and inspirational expressions to tell Confucius stories and Chinese stories, and makes itself a classic for youth exchange between China and other countries.
