Wukong Cup: China-Japan-ROK Teenager Comics Contest

In December 2019, Premier Li Keqiang of the State Council put forward an initiative to strengthen youth exchanges and cooperation among the three countries at the 8th China-Japan-ROK leaders' meeting, which received positive responses from the cultural departments and people-to-people exchange institutions of the three countries. In view of this initiative, the China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration and the cultural exchange institutions and enterprises of the three countries have jointly designed and held two sessions of Wukong Cup: China-Japan-ROK Teenager Comics Contest since 2020 to promote artistic exchanges, enhance friendship among youths, and build a platform for the youth of the three countries to show their talents and a bridge of long-standing friendship. In 2022, the third contest will be held in Shandong to further advance cultural exchanges and related business cooperation among youths of the three countries.
